Dr Prenolin Kistnasami, grew up in Tongaat. He studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and obtained his Fellowship of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa FC Orth (SA). Dr Kistnasami has been practicing as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2011.
The 12 years of experience in the field has taught him that the job of orthopaedic surgeons is never a boring one. “Every case is interesting and different as we get to operate on the entire body. With the job, comes many challenges, and we get the opportunity to learn a lot every day”, shared Dr Kistnasami.
